in all it's glory... located under burnside bridge in portland,or, this skatepark is an iconic spot, known worldwide in the skating community. it was founded and built by locals in the 90s with their own blood, sweat, and tears...the city doesn't run or pay for any part of it, but has the power to shut it down at any time if the peace is disturbed. the locals are somewhat territorial and protective of it for obvious reasons.

thousands gathered across the world in 100 cities across 10 different countries on april 25th in an effort to bring attention to africa's longest running war, stop the lord's resistance army's leader, joseph koney, and help rescue the abducted child soldiers, which comprise 90% of the LRA.
