this is the way we ended our day after returning from bull's island. beautiful is an understatement. we stumbled upon sullivan's beach and couldn't believe our eyes. shortly after taking these photos, i jumped into the atlantic ocean with my clothes on.

i feel that these pictures will never do justice for what i really saw on the beach on bull's island. after a miserable hike through the swamp, we saw a light at the end of the tunnel and this is what we found. bone yard beach was one of the most amazing things i have ever seen. there were massive trees coming out of the ocean like i have never seen before. mind-boggling!

so we took a ferry to bull's island in charleston, sc. let me just say that here i saw some of the most incredible sights i have ever seen with my own eyes. when we got off the boat, we literally hiked through this swamp for a couple of miles. we made it out alive through "alligator alley," where we saw 6 live alligators within a few feet of us. but the alligators were nothing compared to the swarms of mosquitos that surrounded us most of the way in. it was so bad i hardly stopped to take photos in the swamp.
