bull's island...
charleston, sc.....a.k.a. the african jungle
so we took a ferry to bull's island in charleston, sc. let me just say that here i saw some of the most incredible sights i have ever seen with my own eyes. when we got off the boat, we literally hiked through this swamp for a couple of miles. we made it out alive through "alligator alley," where we saw 6 live alligators within a few feet of us. but the alligators were nothing compared to the swarms of mosquitos that surrounded us most of the way in. it was so bad i hardly stopped to take photos in the swamp.
