wow, what a place. it is an amazing city...but there is still so much work to be done. as you drive through neighborhoods, there are areas that have been rebuilt, but 10 yards away there are spots that look like they were hit by katrina yesterday...boarded up windows, lop-sided houses, trash and rubbish in the yard, and body counts spray-painted on door fronts. it's on my list of places i need to return after this tour is over.
